What statuses determine if an Ask is Open?
Open Asks are outstanding Asks with a status of Pending Solicitation or Awaiting Response from Donor.
What statuses determine if an Ask is Closed?
Closed Asks are Asks with a status of Successful - Written Commitment, Successful - Verbal Commitment, Closed - Declined or Closed - Cancelled.
Are Compass Fundraising Asks used for direct mail tracking?
No. Compass Fundraising Asks are designed to manage in-person visits and development officer activity. This tool allows major gift officers to manage their portfolio of prospects.
Can I include Fundraising Asks in a 360° Report?
Yes. Select the red "360°" button at the top of a record. From there, select the plus (+) sign beside "Fundraising Asks" to include that information in your report.
How do I delete a Closed Ask?
If you need to delete a closed Ask, change the status to Pending Solicitation or Awaiting Response from Donor, and the DELETE button will appear on the Ask Details screen.
What Ask information appears on a donor's Summary tab?
The Summary tab > Snapshot menu displays information on a person's Open Asks. It does not include data for any Closed Asks.
