Managing Compass Billing Customized Transaction Types

Customized Transaction Types

Left-hand Navigation: Compass Billing » Compass Billing Options » Customized Transaction Types

There are 10 standard transaction types built into Compass Billing, but additional transition types can be added as needed.  

Add

1. Click "Add" in the top right 
2. Fill in the Fields (bolded are required):
   
   • Transaction Type 
   • Debit or Credit 
   • Classification 
   • Reverse Entry 
   • Description 
3. "Create Transaction Type" 

Edit

• Standard transaction types may not be edited, but the customized types may be edited or deactivated after being created. 
• Click into the desired type and Update

Deactivate 

Click "Deactivate" next to the non-standard transaction type to remove.
